Gebeta (ገበታ) means “large plate” in Amharic. Sharing meals is deeply ingrained in Ethiopian and Eritrean culture, where friends and family gather around a communal platter.

We are a family business, on a mission to introduce the rich and diverse flavors of the Horn of Africa to North America. We partner with local butchers, farmers and producers in Ontario to source high-quality meat and fresh ingredients.
